According to this chart, the Philadelphia Eagles sell the most expensive 16 oz beer in the entire NFL?
According to a chart I was sent from a popular NFL Twitter account, the Philadelphia Eagles sell the most expensive 16oz beer in the entire NFL.
Few things before we dive in, I have no clue if what these bizarre, robot, spy accounts is actually true. Are these actual beer prices at NFL Stadiums? I mean, maybe? I was tasked with this article because I attend a ton of Eagles games, both at The Linc and on the road.
I’m very aware that my lack of knowledge on alcohol prices is also a reflection on me personally never knowing how much I’m paying when purchasing beverages at sporting events because, well, I’m typically intoxicated and pay no attention to anything.
A recent post from the account ML Football where they listed the prices of a 16oz beer at every NFL stadium was sent my way so let’s take a look at the numbers.
Philadelphia Eagles have the highest-priced 16oz beer in the entire NFL
The Philadelphia Eagles reportedly sell a 16oz beer for $14.67 which is the highest in the entire NFL.
Let me put on my “data glasses” real quick and we’ll take a look at the numbers. According to the chart, the NFL average is $9.56 so the Eagles are way above that.
Thank you. I’m aware my math skills are unmatched.
The next closest are the Chargers and Rams – both of whom play in Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium. Makes sense given the new venue – which by the way, is absolutely sick. We were there last year with Phans of Philly and there’s not a bad seat in the house. Because the Rams don’t have any real fans in LA, it was easy to get around and filled with Eagles fans too.
Again, I have no idea what the alcohol prices are so I can’t confirm SoFi pricing either. In California, blame the legal edibles paired with an incredible Phans of Philly tailgate that had my head in the clouds well before kickoff. Definitely consider that trip with Phans this season because the Birds will be back to play the Rams there again.
Damn. Now I’m wondering how crazy things would get here in Philadelphia if fans inside Lincoln Financial Field were only paying Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons beer pricing.
Also – looks like I just circled our first trip with Phans of Philly for the 2024 season.
The Eagles are making a rare trip to Cincy this season and now I’m being told I can crush $6.59 beers at Bengals games? Please. Sign me the hell up. I might just drive out there for Week 1 too. Really putting my math skills to the test, but I’m confident the 16oz beer pricing will offset gas money, no?
Anyways, I’m more of a tailgate guy myself and do my best to stay off the alcohol once I’m inside the stadium. I’m lying to all of you but I definitely should take it easy in the stands after being out in the parking lots crushing Two Robbers Vodka Seltzers all morning with Dunphy.
And no, we don’t drink High Noons in Philly. Leave that to Barstool and Boston.
It’s Philly’s own Two Robbers or nothing. Thank you.
Update 3:01 PM (6.19) – The Cult of Dave Portnoy is after me
Christ almighty – can’t even talk adult beverages without the zombie swarm on social media coming for my neck.
A lot of DM’s telling me Two Robbers makes “White Claw” seltzers and not Vodka Seltzers.
As usual, the internet is wrong. Plus, I’m a Barstool guy too. Relax!
Question for the zombies: When is the last time you’ve been out of your house and to Fishtown? Two Robbers is a SPIRITS Company and their Seltzers are immaculate.
Philly owned and operated. Real fruit sourced from real farms. High quality distilled wheat vodka.
If you need to know why that’s important, go check out what your precious Nooners are using in their Vodka Seltzers and then report back when you return from Barstool HQ.
Anyways, back to the list. I’ll have to report back with more pricing details because I have zero clue on what’s what according to the ML Football list. What I do know is that I desperately need a Sweet Gold Pineapple from Two Robbers right about now.
Damn. I should write about alcohol more often. That was fun and now I have a reason to crack one at 1PM on a Wednesday.
It’s 90+ degrees outside here in Philly and nothing hits the spot better than an ice cold Two Robbers. Check out the color. That’s real fruit baby. Go Birds.
