Pump The Brakes: Sixers free agent target Paul George has spent his time trying to become a better podcaster, which leaves many wondering what his commitment to basketball is anymore
Pump the brakes, Sixers fans! The player who many had hoped would join to form a new Big 3 seems to have different priorities. Paul George, also known as “Podcast P”, has been dedicating most of his time this offseason on becoming a better….podcaster?
This isn’t a clickbait article. I’m genuinely concerned that Paul George doesn’t give a shit about playing basketball anymore.
George, just wants to podcast. It’s similar to our once beloved Ben Simmons, who was more concerned with “Simmo The Savage” and his kill-death ratio in Call of Duty than working on his jump shot. Meanwhile, the Sixers (should) be focused on winning a championship.
Note: Someone should tell Daryl Morey that while we’re at it.

All I’m saying is for a franchise as cursed as the Sixers, to sign a guy who’s never won a championship to a max deal at the age of 35 and doesn’t seem entirely committed to basketball, scares the ever-living hell out of me.
The fact that Daryl Morey is going to make this decision makes me want to drive my car off the Benjamin Franklin Bridge.
I may be overreacting here and perhaps on the basketball court, he’s the missing piece between Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid.
But the other part of this is that he would eat a large portion of the Sixers’ cap space and personally, I feel there have to be better options to fill out this roster.
It doesn’t always have to be putting three All-Star/max contract-level players on the court.
Do the right thing, Daryl.
