WATCH: Dario Šarić and Ivica Zubac involved in an altercation at a bar in Greece after Olympic qualifying defeat
One of the Olympic Qualifying Tournaments was in Greece this week, and former 76er Dario Šarić suited up for Croatia in a bid to help his country to an appearance at the Summer Games. Sadly for him, Croatia lost to Greece, and their Olympic dreams were dashed.
Dario Šarić and countryman Ivica Zubac were out at a bar blowing off steam and wound up involved in an altercation after the loss:

Look, we have zero context here, but I think it is safe to say our sweet, sweet Dario did nothing wrong here. I can’t speak for Ivica in this one, but The Homie is innocent here, as far as I’m concerned.
Honestly, I don’t think I’d want to fight either of these guys, much less under a cabana in Greece at 5 AM after a few ouzos. I don’t know what started this, but considering it took place in the Balkans, that’s par for the course for literally any conflict that’s taken place there since time immemorial.
Reports say that police weren’t involved, which, no shit, they weren’t. Greek law enforcement is probably the equivalent of a guy sitting there going, “Hey, knock it off, guys.” It’s more of an honor system situation, but it seems to working out for them just fine.
