Mets Yankees Fans Fight Subway Series

WATCH: New York Mets sweep the Subway Series against the Yankees, fans show ‘frustration’ in the concourse

The New York Mets completed a Subway Series sweep of the Yankees for the first time in over a decade on Wednesday night, winning in blowout fashion 12-3.

New York baseball fans on both sides were clearly having trouble grasping with the results of the Subway Series. Mets fans were in complete shock, experiencing an adrenaline rush that was unfamiliar to them given how bad their baseball team is, while Yankees fans were coming to terms with getting swept by the Mets.

The result was an all-out brawl in the concourse at Yankee Stadium.

Mets Fans and Yankees Fans ‘Relieve Themselves’ Following Subway Series

Trust me, I get it. If you’re a Yankees fan and had to watch your baseball team get swept by New York City’s red-headed step child, the poverty-ridden Mets organization, then of course you’re upset.

At the very least, Yankees fans showed more fight than what their team put out on the baseball field against the Mets. Not like it matters.

What exactly are these fans fighting over?

The Mets won’t make the playoffs and the Yankees will inevitably choke under the bright lights. None of this debauchery in the concourse is even necessary.

Security at Yankee Stadium have thrown out people for less.

I will say that I am surprised no one got arrested. Where is security? They were EVERYWHERE when Phillies fans headed up to Yankee Stadium to catch a game last year.

The Liberty Line was up in the Bronx with Phans of Philly and security literally threw Dunphy out of the stadium within seconds of him losing his shirt and starting an “Eagles” chant.

On top of that, security had narcs in the stands that followed me up the aisle. They weren’t in uniform so I had no idea why some dude stood up to tell me to go back to my seat.

I obviously told the guy to kick rocks and sit back down as I walked up to see what the deal was with Dunphy.

Low and behold, the undercover cop followed me up the aisle and kicked me out too.

Nasty stuff. You can read all about that right here >>

Fight Notes:

While we do owe a thank you to the cameraman for the context, his filming definitely needs some work. You would think that he was behind his phone repeatedly getting punched in the head based on how badly he was shaking.

Why does every fight video always turn into a 3 vs 1?

I understand you can’t be on the sidelines while one of your boys is getting clocked in the face but at the very least, go find someone else standing by and hit them. Entering a fight to just beat up on a guy that already has his hands full is shameful.

Arguably worse, being the shirtless dude and flexing like he just left the cage after a UFC title fight. Talk about a brainless idiot. Literally no one watching was doing so for entertainment purposes.

This dork is flexing like people will be into a bunch of what appears to be underage children beating each other up in the concourse? Don’t think so but honestly, I would expect nothing less from the scumbags in New York City. Good riddance.
