“I wore nine in high school, wore nine in college, but I can’t get nine now because…. it’s retired.”

The Eagles haven’t officially retired the number 9 yet, but rumor has it they’ll be doing it this year once the legendary Nick Foles officially retires. For obvious reasons, the number 9 should never be worn again in Philly.

Foles brought the Eagles their first and only Super Bowl championship, out dueling Tom Brady back in 2018. Honestly, he may be the only Eagle that truly deserves to get their number retired by the team after everything he’s done.
