Eagles News: DE Josh Sweat makes underwhelming jersey number change

As Eagles OTAs get underway, DE Josh Sweat will be donning a different jersey number in 2024.

According to the Eagles’ official website, Sweat will switch to No. 19 after wearing No. 94 for the last four seasons.

QB Tanner Mckee, who wore No. 19 prior, will be switching to No. 16.

Sweat, who is entering a contract year, was the subject of trade rumors for much of the offseason before agreeing to a restructured deal worth $10M. His contract is still scheduled to expire after the 2024 season.

Across six seasons with the Eagles, Sweat has compiled 35.0 sacks, 82 QB hits, and 45 tackles for loss.
