WATCH: Former 76ers forward Georges Niang destroys Ben Simmons in podcast interview

It’s no secret that Ben Simmons was despised by most of the 76ers players towards the end of his tenure here. Especially former Sixer Georges Niang.

On the most recent episode of the ‘Road Trippin’ Show,’ with Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye, Niang opened up about the Simmons situation and how tumultuous it got towards the end.

“[Ben Simmons] was walking around the facility, you’d be like ‘what’s up man?’ because [the organization] is like ‘try to welcome him back.’ and he’d [nod], and that’s when I was like ‘f*** this dude.'”

Watching the entire clip, it’s pretty obvious that the whole team — not just Niang — hated Simmons at the end. It’s a shame it had to turn out this way. One can only dream of what a fully developed Ben Simmons could’ve done for this team during that time.

Unfortunately, we’ll never truly know what could have been (unless the 76ers bring him back this offseason like they should).
