WATCH: Giants beat reporter asks Daniel Jones wild philosophical question during press conference
We shit on the Philly beat reporters a lot here at The Liberty Line. But if there’s one thing we love doing more, it’s taking aim at Giants beat reporters — or any rival media pundit for that matter.
There’s been a lot of headlines surrounding the New York Giants heading into camp. With Hard Knocks currently airing, fans are getting a clear view at the dysfunction permeating throughout that organization. The dysfunction is so strong that it seems to be seeping into the local media as well.
This clip showcases that and then some/ Honestly, I have no idea if this is recent or not, but it’s so crazy that I had no choice but to write about it.
Giants media has gone off the deep end

“I have a bit of a philosophical question,” the Giants beat writer says. “I’m going to read this to you and you can look at the picture as I ask this question. Do you pull the lever, killing one plus one, plus one, plus one people, one person for every integer, resulting in infinite people dying. Or do you do nothing, allowing the trolley to kill 100 continuously reincarnating people. In both cases, there is infinite suffering. But in the top case, there is finite suffering for each infinite death, whereas there is infinite suffering with each finite death, what do you do?”
Jesus Christ. Could you imagine if someone like ESP asked this to Jalen Hurts during an Eagles presser? Hurts wouldn’t even give it the time of day. This is the kind of question you see during media day at the Super Bowl, and even then, it rarely gets this wacky.
Based on the look Jones has on his face, he has no idea what the hell this guy is talking about. Jones may have gone to Duke, but I don’t think he’s equipped to answer this brain buster.
To his credit, Jones does a good job of deflecting this question in a polite way. I wouldn’t have blamed him if he just scoffed it off and said, “next question.”
