WATCH: Titans defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons confronts Buck Reising at training camp after the radio host called him out on Twitter
Titans defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons exchanged words with a Tennessee sports radio host at training camp on Tuesday.
Buck Reising hosts “The Buck Reising Show” on 104.5 The Zone in Nashville, Tennessee. The station was broadcasting live from Titans training camp this week.
The midday host was live on air when Jeffery Simmons approached the host’s tent and exchanged words with him, saying that he does “a lot of talking on social media” before straight up calling him a “pussy.”
From there, I guess you could say that Reising stood his ground by inviting Jeffery Simmons to grab a mic so they could sit down and hash things out on air.
Jeffery Simmons confronts Buck Reising at Titans Training Camp:
Buck Reising’s co-host had me cracking up.
He was sitting there with a “please don’t kill us” look on his face.

According to reports, Jeffery Simmons was all worked up at Titans’ training camp practice already and was fighting with his teammates – taking a swing at JC Latham before a brawl broke out a few plays later.
Buck Reising was in fact, talking shit on Twitter, saying that if it was an actual game (obviously it wasn’t) that Simmons would have been tossed before calling the entire incident “sloppy” and suggesting that the two-time Pro Bowler needed to “lock tf in.”
“Simmons just swung at Latham after some pushing a shoving…refs said 98 would have been tossed in game. He’s back in for the next two and immediately starts a brawl. Sloppy. Simmons needs to lock tf in…”
Honestly, I’m not sure how Simmons even knew what Buck was tweeting while he was in the middle of practice? There had to be other comments made in the past right?
I mean hell, we live in Sports Talk Radio hell here in Philadelphia with all of the braindead idiots over at 94.1 WIP saying god knows what about Eagles players on a daily basis, so I wouldn’t put it past Buck Reising doing the same.
AJ Brown literally called into 94.1 WIP and set things straight while all the hosts cowered like frauds. Thankfully, that was just over the phone and not in person because I highly doubt Hugh Douglas wants to come to Joe Giglio’s defense at the NovaCare Complex.

Anyways, Simmons is a two-time Pro Bowl player and expected to lead Tennessee’s defense this season so in my humble opinion, he has the right to say and do whatever he wants at training camp. First-year head coach Brian Callahan agrees with me. After practice, he said the fighting from Simmons wasn’t going to be an issue, obviously.
It could however, lead to a QB change in Pittsburgh. We’ll have to wait and see how that players out in Steeler Country.
