WATCH: Insane Eagles practice view from a helmet, an inside look on how it is from a player’s perspective
Last night, the Philadelphia Eagles hosted their annual open practice in front of nearly 50,000 fans at Lincoln Financial Field to officially get everyone hyped up for the 2024 NFL season.
While there’s plenty to be excited about with this Eagles team, the social media crew stole the show last night by hooking up a camera inside a team helmet, providing one of the most unique viewing experiences that I’ve personally ever seen.

Pretty damn cool right? Obviously that doesn’t really capture the entire view during a live action NFL game but you can’t knock the effort from the Eagles social team. And since were touching on different camera angles in sports, this takes the icing on the cake if you compare it to some of the very strange angles we saw during the NBA Playoffs and Finals.

Maybe it’s an effort to attract a younger sports crowd. I’m not old by any means but I just couldn’t get behind the camera angle. There’s really nothing worse than a broadcast going in a different direction from what you were already previously heavily invested into viewing.
Nonetheless, the Eagles trying that camera view out during open practice was really cool, and I wouldn’t be shocked if that gains steam and we see more teams experiment with it.
