Cowboys Downfall: Ceedee Lamb, Micah Parsons are fed up with Jerry Jones

The Dallas Cowboys’ downfall has been slow and painful. For Eagles fans, it’s been a joy to watch, and we’re only getting started.

The Cowboys top two players, Ceedee Lamb and Micah Parsons, are in line to get new contracts. Because the team decided to pay Dak Prescott a ridiculous amount of money and not restructure his contract this offseason like many believed they would, they’re stuck with essentially the exact same team they had in 2023. Plus a washed up Zeke Elliott.

When asked about Lamb’s looming contract extension, owner Jerry Jones just scoffed it off, telling reporters he’s in no rush to get it done. Not the response you want to hear if your Lamb. He wasted no time letting the world know how he felt about it.

Better yet, Parsons chimed in with a re-tweet of this response from Lamb.

At this point, it’s clear where Dallas fans stand on their team. They’ve been boycotting the team throughout camp, and now, their two best players are openly speaking out against ownership.

It doesn’t matter how much talent this team has. When the leaders of the team start going rogue and publicly feuding with ownership, it never works out favorably.

The Cowboys are cooked. The best part — we still get to watch them them flounder their way through an entire season. It’s going to be great.
