Instead of rooting for Team USA, American football analyst and turncoat Albert Breer lobbies for France and criticizes Joel Embiid

The Olympic Games tend to show true colors of people around the world. That proved to be true yet again after Albert Breer decided to go full “turncoat” on Team USA and Joel Embiid during their Gold Medal game against France.

I’m rooting for the US here but it’d be pretty hilarious if Joel Embiid’s attempt to gravy train a gold medal was denied by the team he abandoned.

Yeah. Okay, Albert. I don’t even know where to begin with your tweet because it’s so ridiculous and beyond insulting not only to the United States of America but also to Philadelphia’s own Joel Embiid. 

In no way shape or form should any American be rooting for anyone in the Olympics outside of Team USA. We went through this already with the cult of Nikola Jokic and dumbass Nuggets fans last week, and now we have some of our biggest members of the media following suit? 

Traitorous behavior from Albert Breer and anyone else who agreed with him on Twitter.

I can’t possibly think of anything more un-American from someone than rooting for another country that is not, America. Pair that with the fact that it’s the Gold Medal game against France and we’re now dealing with flat-out treason. 

Albert Breer is a Boston guy. While people are giving him an out for the tweet based on that and his presumed Celtics fandom, I’m definitely not. Boston and Philadelphia were American strongholds when we started this great nation and city differences aside, we are all under the same flag, something that Breer clearly cares nothing about. 

The most obvious issue here is Breer accusing Joel Embiid of joining Team USA to “gravy train” a gold medal like he wasn’t the sole reason that the Americans beat the Serbians to play France in the first place?

Don’t get me wrong, Embiid had a rollercoaster debut with Team USA. He was basically ass during the five exhibition games and really only turned things around in the later part of the group stage. 

Over the last three games leading up to yesterday’s gold medal win against France, Embiid dominated. Against Puerto Rico, Embiid scored 15 points to go along with 3 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 assists.

Embiid caught fire in the first half, scoring 14 points to go along with 7 rebounds against Brazil. He didn’t play in the second half due “ankle discomfort”.

Embiid scored 19 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and a block on 8-of-11 shooting, including 2-of-3 from three point range against Serbia, which included a string of seven-straight points in the fourth quarter.

So please, the only one on the “gravy train” is Boston loyalist and American traitor Albert Breer. 

Embiid didn’t abandon anyone. He was born in Cameroon and was eligible to play for either Cameroon, France, or the United States of America. Embiid has lived in Cameroon and America. His son Arthur, was also born in America and is an American citizen. 

It’s almost like France or someone involved with their basketball program paid Albert Breer to tweet this slander, right? Maybe we’re all just better off if Breer sticks to football and stops embarrassing not only himself, but the great nation that is THE United States of America.
