Former Syracuse guard Judah Mintz signs Exhibit 10 contract with Philadelphia 76ers
With NBA Training Camp just a month away, the Philadelphia 76ers have made a move by signing Judah Mintz, an undrafted guard out of Syracuse, to an Exhibit 10 contract.
Teams can bring 20 players to training camp, and with Mintz now on board, the 76ers’ roster sits at 19. That leaves just one spot up for grabs.

Mintz played two seasons at Syracuse, where he posted impressive averages of 18.8 points, 4.4 assists, and 2.1 steals per game during his final year.
Despite going undrafted, he made a splash in the Salt Lake City and Las Vegas Summer Leagues with the Sixers, averaging 12.4 points per game coming off the bench.

An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year deal at the league minimum that isn’t guaranteed. It can also come with a potential bonus of up to $75,000 if Mintz spends at least 60 days with the team’s G League affiliate after being waived.
Mintz isn’t the only one battling for a spot; Max Fielder, a center from Rice University, also signed an Exhibit 10 deal. Plus, the 76ers have Jeff Dowtin Jr., Justin Edwards, and David Jones on two-way contracts.
Training camp kicks off on October 1st, and with only a few roster spots open, expect Mintz, Fielder, and the rest of the crew to pull out all the stops to secure their place on the team.
