Robert Morris defensive back Rob Carter Jr., who on Saturday may have just redefined what it means to make a jaw-dropping interception. Seriously, this one’s going to be replayed on highlight reels for a long, long time.
Robert Morris at the time, was going toe-to-toe with Utah State at Maverik Stadium in Logan, Utah. They held onto a 14-10 ahead of halftime and the Aggies were looking to flip the script with a deep bomb down the field.
Bryson Barnes launched the football to wide receiver Grant Page and d-back Rob Carter Jr flew into the air, defying gravity, and making an INSANE one-handed interception while twisting through the air like some type of acrobatic superhero.
The jaw-dropping interception immediately caught the attention of college football fans on social media, with everyone in agreement it was one of the greatest interceptions that they have ever witnessed.
Robert Morris University did lose the game 36-14 but at the end of the night, there was only one play that viewers will remember.
