WATCH: Atlanta Braves fan throws soft haymaker, gets police escort out of Citizens Bank Park
It’s no secret that the Atlanta Braves and what’s left of their fanbase are in shambles right now. Over the weekend, the Phillies took 3-of-4 from their NL East rivals to put a stranglehold on the division, while Braves fans at Citizens Bank Park were embarrassing themselves in the stands.

Just make sure that skipper Brian Snitker doesn’t see this video. Would be a shame given how scared he is of Phillies fans. I wonder if he’d say the same about Braves fans? My guess, he’ll roll out some type of excuse that it was actually the Phillies fan who started the mess, but anyone watching knows that’s far from the truth.

I mean seriously, how pathetic can Atlanta Braves fans get?
As I predicted before the start of the weekend series, the Braves and their fans got their hopes up for absolutely nothing.
They had a nice stretch in August when no one was paying attention and at one point, even cut the Phillies’ NL East lead down to what…four games?
That obviously didn’t last long. After the Phillies took 3-of-4 from the Braves over the weekend, their lead in the NL East is now at a staggering seven games with 25 left to play in the 2024 regular season.
I know that the Braves have been kings of the National League East for quite some time now but can anyone really fall back on their division wins while this team crumbled in the postseason over the past two years thanks to the Phillies and a little thing we like to call “Red October”?
And now we have Braves fans, attending baseball games at Citizens Bank Park and for whatever reason, getting angry as their Braves stink up the baseball field. Not anyone’s fault but their roster – or at the very least, the one’s that are still healthy enough to be playing this season.
The key here is the fact that the Braves fan through a haymaker and it landed on the face of the Phillies fan with literally no reaction is an immediate “L” in my opinion.
You can’t be wearing a bucket hat that’s a million sizes too small for your head while taking Mike Tyson swings at opposing fans only to walk up the stairs to find yourself a personal police escort out of the stadium. That’s almost more embarrassing than what happened the last two years in the postseason for the Braves, right?
There wasn’t one negative reaction from a Phillies fan in the video above. Bad look all around for the Atlanta Braves and their fans but that’s expected from opposing fan bases that come to Philadelphia while the media and general opinion about us tends to be the complete opposite.
