Philadelphia Eagles Offense:

Snap Count Notes: Offense

The Eagles’ offensive line played the entire game.

Jalen Hurts didn’t miss a snap either. Hurts finished the game with a 80.3 RTG, completing 20-of-34 passes for 278 yards to go along with two touchdowns and two interceptions.

Hurts also carried the football 13 times for 33 yards, which included a few crucial runs late in the game to seal the win for the Eagles.

DeVonta Smith never left the field, hauled in seven receptions for 84 yards, averaging 12-yards per catch – his longest being 25 yards.

AJ Brown played 95% of the snaps, caught five of his 10 targets for 119 yards and a touchdown. Brown led the Eagles in targets while finishing behind Devonta Smith in receptions.

Dallas Goedert, not WR3 Jahan Dotson, ranked third in snaps, targets, and receptions – notched four receptions for 31 yards.

Jahan Dotson played the sixth-most snaps of any receiver, had one target and that resulted in a dropped pick-six by the Packers.

Saquon Barkley played 80% of the snaps, had 26 touches for 132 yards and three touchdowns.

Philadelphia Eagles Defense:

Snap Count Notes: Defense

Zack Baun never left the field and he wasn’t just active in his first game as the Eagles’ top linebacker—he was everywhere. Baun led the team with 15 total tackles (11 solo) and capped off the night with two sacks, including the game-sealing takedown of Malik Willis, and one tackle for loss.

Outside of Zack Baun, no one else on the Eagles had more than eight tackles.

Vic Fangio played three of his defenders 100% of the snaps – Zack Baun, Reed Blankenship, and Darius Slay. It would have been four if CJ Gardner-Johnson didn’t hurt his hand that costed him one play.

Nakobe Dean nearly played the entire game and was surprisingly “okay” – He had four tackles with one QB hit and one pass defended.

Quinyon Mitchell was on the field for 63 snaps (94%), all of which were at the outside cornerback position. He allowed 4 catches allowed on 9 targets and notched three pass breakups with a 66.9 passer rating allowed – 2.0 cover EPA.

Avonte Maddox playing 90% of the snaps on defense seems like way too much.

Cooper DeJean was non-existent.

Keele Ringo didn’t play as much as expected in cornerback in nickel situations.

Bryce Huff played just 30 saps (45 percent) and was mostly a non-factor.

Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis received a lot of attention for their conditioning during the summer. Carter played 51 snaps (76 percent) while Davis played only 35 (52 percent).
