The New Orleans Saints made light work of the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday in Jerry’s World winning 44-19 in an absolute blowout to improve to 2-0 on the season.
In a jaw-dropping performance, Carr led the New Orleans Saints to a 44-19 blowout victory over the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium. The veteran quarterback was sharp, finishing 11-of-16 for 243 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception.
Derek Carr wasn’t done there—he added a 1-yard touchdown run just before halftime, pushing the Saints ahead 34-13 and broke out a new Michael Jackson “Celly” as his Saints cruised to an easy Week 2 win over the Cowboys.

Derek Carr is dancing like he’s Michael Jackson, and who can blame him? The Saints’ quarterback has every right to show off after leading New Orleans to a stunning win over the Dallas Cowboys.
Through two games, the Saints’ offense has been unstoppable, scoring on all 15 of their possessions.
Every single drive has resulted in points.
Their Week 1 victory over the Carolina Panthers, a solid 47-10 win, was impressive, but no one saw them dismantling the Cowboys on the road coming in Week 2.
With a stat line of 11-of-16 for 243 yards, two touchdowns, and a 1-yard touchdown run, Derek Carr is leading the way for the Saints and their presumed high-powered offense.
If this is how Derek Carr is going to perform for the rest of the 2024-25 NFL season, Saints fans have plenty to be excited about. Ideally, the Saints won’t have the same luck next week as the Philadelphia Eagles head to New Orleans for a Week 3 matchup.
