Darius Slay Tweets out his career stats after his Eagles lose in embarrassing fashion
As a fan, we appreciate when players take accountability after a tough loss. Darius Slay, on the other hand, was more concerned with his career stats after his Eagles got their asses kicked Sunday afternoon in Tampa.
in a since deleted Tweet, Slay Tweeted out his career stats for absolutely no reason. Typically he takes to Twitter if a bunch of Eagles fans are coming after him on social media. On Sunday, that wasn’t the case. He just wanted to remind everyone what he really cares about.

Slay also went ahead and made his Twitter private after deleting this Tweet. What a dickhead.
Honestly, I like Darius Slay. He’s been a good player on the Eagles and while his attitude comes off as weird at times, I don’t think he actually hurts the team with it. Until now. This is pretty embarrassing for Slay.
Not only do you make yourself look like a complete douche bag by Tweeting this after a loss, you alienate yourself from your teammates. Maybe they don’t care about this kind of stuff like fans do, but that’s an even bigger problem if that’s the case.
There are a bunch of young, impressionable players on this Eagles team right now — especially on the defensive side of the ball. If one of the veterans of the defense gets to act like this, how will Jalen Carter or Quinyon Mitchell take that?
At the end of the day, nobody gives a shit about Darius Slay’s career — especially after a loss like this. Be better.
