NFC East team enters the Davante Adams trade sweepstakes
Raiders WR Davante Adams has officially requested a trade, and there is no shortage of teams looking to add the three-time All-Pro to their roster.
While the New Orleans Saints and Las Vegas Raiders are Adams’ preferred destinations, the New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys have also entered the conversation.
Cowboys Pursuing Davante Adams
The Jets and Cowboys are among the many teams monitoring the Davante Adams situation. Both have checked in with the Raiders. I’m told at this point that Vegas is in no rush to make a move until a team reaches their asking price — but Adams wants out ASAP.

Dallas had a pretty low-key offseason, and that’s become a hot topic now that they’ve stumbled to a 2-2 start. Even though the Cowboys haven’t swung for the fences in recent years regarding big trades, you can never fully count them out.
With their backfield banged up, the Cowboys’ offense has gone all-in on the pass. Beyond CeeDee Lamb, who’s the real game-changer in the receiving corps?
Brandin Cooks will miss this week’s game and possibly more after developing a knee infection. Jalen Tolbert is emerging as a reliable WR2, but pairing Davante Adams with Lamb would instantly make them one of the best wide receiver duos in the league.
Adams would improve Dallas’ Super Bowl chances in a wide-open NFC conference, but let’s not kid ourselves — it wouldn’t magically fix all their problems, especially on defense.
UPDATE: The Cowboys are NOT interested in trading for Adams, per NFL Insider Jordan Schultz.
The #Cowboys are not interested in trading for Davante Adams, per source. The #Chiefs are (obviously) going to be in the receiver market, but a divisional trade is highly unlikely.
