Porch Pirate: Rashee Rice’s mother Marsha Kearney caught stealing packages in son’s “Momma-Rice” No. 4 Chiefs jersey
A very bad year for Kansas City Chiefs Rashee Rice continued this week with images of his mother, Marsha Kearney wearing a custom “Momma-Rice” No. 4 jersey be
According to TMZ, police have confirmed a complaint has been filed. While all the necessary legal qualifiers like “allegedly” and “reportedly” are in play here, it’s safe to assume NFL Shop isn’t moving many Chiefs No. 4 “Momma-Rice” jerseys. Unless, of course, we’re talking home and away versions.
And then there’s the added layer of reports that she supposedly posted herself wearing that same jersey earlier in the day, which certainly doesn’t help any legal team attempt to prove Momma Rice’s innocence.
Rashee Rice’s mother caught stealing packages
In fact, this one’s about as open-and-shut as it gets. I think we’re ready to call off the dogs. It looks like this case can be officially closed without getting authorities involved.
Rashee Rice signed a 4 year , $6,495,208 contract with the Kansas City Chiefs, including $1,723,788 signing bonus, $3,519,025 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $1,623,802. In 2024, Rice will earn a base salary of $1,045,237, while carrying a cap hit of $1,476,184 and a dead cap value of $2,338,078.
Rashee Rice’s mother bought a custom “Momma Rice” football jersey to honor her son and instead of sitting back and enjoying be the mother of a millionaire, NFL player, she chose the life of a Porch Pirate and decided to swipe packages from her neighbors.
Now, I’m sure the Rice family lawyers would rather we shift the spotlight away from the (alleged) porch piracy and focus on the positives—like raising a kid who’s big on accountability. Fair enough. I wonder how that’s working out for them? Certainly Rashee Rice has taken the moral high ground, right?
Welp, never mind. The Rice family clearly has issues and at this point, I’m ready to name them as a full-blown crime syndicate.
Becoming a Porch Pirate obviously is a dark road to travel but when the stolen package features is Chappell Roan vinyl, can you really blame them?
Side Note: I have no clue who Chappell Roan is but a quick Google search will have me believe that she’s unworthy of a purchase, let alone a life of Porch Piracy. Maybe I’m just old and out of touch. She appears to be super famous and currently in the midst of a TikTok controversy for not endorsing Kamala Harris, so maybe the singer isn’t that bad after all.
Anyways, clearly the temptation was just too hard to pass up for Momma Rice.
