WATCH: Jurickson Profar trolls Mookie Bets with home run robbery, gets into it with Dodgers fans

Jurickson Profar made one of the slickest plays of his career Sunday, and he made sure to have some fun with the fans while doing it. In Game 2 of the NLDS, with the Padres holding a slim 1-0 lead over the Dodgers, Mookie Betts stepped to the plate in the first inning.

With one out, Betts launched what looked like a sure home run to left field off Yu Darvish’s first pitch. For a moment, Dodger Stadium thought they had a game-tying blast on their hands.

Enter Jurickson Profar

The Padres’ left fielder tracked the ball down near the warning track, made an impressive snag, and just for good measure, gave the nearby Dodgers fans a little playful tease. As they thought the ball might sail out of the park, Profar made sure to show them who was in control.

Jurickson Profar delivered a defensive gem that not only kept the Dodgers off the board early but also added some extra flair to an already tense playoff atmosphere.

Needless to say, Dodgers fans didn’t take too kingly to Profar’s antics. With the Padres holding a 4-1 lead entering the bottom of 7th, one fan hurled a baseball at Profar that caused a delay on the field.

Honestly, I have zero issues with any of it.

You have Profar trolling Dodgers fans and then they bit back at him. That’s just good old fashioned postseason baseball, ya know?

I guess my only issue is the fact that Profar basically asked for it to happen earlier in the game and then got his feelings hurt when Dodgers fans responded. Doesn’t seem like that was fair but at the same time, if fans are throwing things at you in the middle of an already highly contested baseball game, then I can definitely understand the frustration.
