Defensive tackle Jalen Carter and cornerback Darius Slay were both sidelined. Carter’s absence was a new development, as he was added to the injury report with a shoulder issue. Slay, dealing with a knee injury, had participated in a limited capacity on Wednesday but was downgraded for Thursday.
Tight end Dallas Goedert and left tackle Jordan Mailata continued to sit out due to hamstring injuries. Neither is expected to play in the upcoming game against the Giants.
Additionally, cornerback Eli Ricks (groin) missed practice, while defensive tackle Milton Williams (ankle) was limited after sitting out Wednesday. Linebacker Oren Burks (groin) and defensive tackle Byron Young (hamstring) were also limited participants.
CB/S James Bradberry could be nearing a return, as he’s reportedly ‘feeling much better’ from his leg injury suffered before the season.
After being heavily involved in trade rumors leading up to training camp, Bradberry transitioned from cornerback to safety and survived roster cutdowns despite his poor player in 2023.
We’ll see how the Eagles handle Bradberry as the trade deadline approaches.
