Social media had a field day after Dak Prescott announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend Sarah Jane Ramos

During the Dallas Cowboys’ bye week, Dak Prescott scored a personal victory by announcing his engagement to longtime girlfriend Sarah Jane Ramos.

Prescott shared the exciting news on Instagram, posting a photo of himself, Ramos, and their infant daughter, with Ramos sporting a massive diamond ring. The caption read “4ever with @sarahjane,” signaling that the couple is officially engaged.

The couple welcomed their daughter, Margaret Jane Rose Prescott, earlier this year in February. Prescott and Ramos have been linked publicly since September 2023, with the news of their first child coming just two months later.

As with anything involving Prescott or really, the Dallas Cowboys in general, fans were quick to jump all over him following his post. While there were a lot of fans who offered congratulations, some couldn’t resist making fun of the struggling Cowboys’ quarterback, saying the engagement ring might be the only ring Prescott ever gets to see.

The Cowboys are 3-3 on the season, posting an 0-3 record at home with a squeaky clean 3-0 record away from Jerry’s World.

Surprisingly, the Washington Commanders are leading the NFC East, with the Philadelphia Eagles sitting at 3-2 and the lowly New York Giants in the gutter at 2-4 on the season.
