Kevin Garnett Joel Embiid Load Management

WATCH: Unhinged Kevin Garnett ‘goes off’ on Joel Embiid after hearing 76ers’ load management plan

Good rule of thumb: Just because you were an NBA player, doesn’t mean you should have a podcast to voice your dumb opinions. Engagement farmer Kevin Garnett is a prime example after a video surfaced of him going on an unhinged rant about Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers’ load management plan ahead of the 2024-25 season.

Honestly, Kevin Garnett should know better.

How doesn’t Kevin Garnett realize that Joel Embiid is 30-years old and has a laundry list of injuries that have plagued him throughout his entire college and NBA career?

Does Kevin Garnett not realize that Embiid is 7’2” and needs to stay healthy throughout the regular season so for the first time ever, the 76ers will have a healthy version of him in the playoffs?

Load Management sucks unless you’ve suffered through 10 years of misery as a Philadelphia 76ers fan. There’s no possible way this organization will survive with an injured Embiid in the playoffs this year. It simply cannot happen. Embiid can rest just like the Raptors handled Kawhi Leonard when they won an NBA Title.

Not to mention, when Kevin Garnett got to Boston he never logged 82 games over six seasons with the Celtics. What are we doing, Kevin?

The media, current and former NBA players, and fans all want a healthy Joel Embiid and the second that Nick Nurse and company roll out a plan to ensure that he is in fact, healthy, now everyone wants to criticize.

We haven’t even played a single regular season game and I’m already pissed off about how everyone is treating Joel Embiid.
