WATCH: Jayden Daniels miracle game-winning Hail Mary, delivers Commanders 18-15 win over Bears

My eyes were literally closing as I’m watching the closing moments of this Commanders vs Bears game, in what felt like a 100% chance that the Bears would be leaving Northwest Stadium with a victory that would give my Philadelphia Eagles the 1st place nod in the NFC East.

However, Jayden Daniels had other plans. In fact, as I was falling asleep, my dad, who was sitting right next to me, kept freaking out and claiming that the Commanders were about to pull off a miracle. And, well, that’s exactly what happened. So, you can either blame or credit my father, Steven Conrad Sr., for this miracle happening in the first place.

In an unforgettable finish, Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders pulled off a stunning victory over the Chicago Bears, capping the game with a dramatic 52-yard touchdown pass to Noah Brown as the clock hit zero at Northwest Stadium. The clutch play pushed the Commanders to a strong 6-2 record, marking a thrilling high point in their season so far.

In a nail-biting finish, the Commanders called their last timeout with just six seconds to go after Jayden Daniels hit Zach Ertz for an 11-yard gain, advancing them to their own 35-yard line. Daniels then connected with Terry McLaurin for 13 more yards, setting up a do-or-die Hail Mary attempt. The pass sailed toward the end zone, where Bears cornerback Tyrique Stevenson managed to get a hand on it, only for the tipped ball to drop perfectly into the hands of an unguarded Noah Brown.

This obviously took place after the Bears took the lead with under 30 seconds left in the game. I just can’t imagine being a Chicago Bears fan right now, and while this was a regular season game, I’d have to imagine this agony is almost comparable to the double doink in the playoffs.
