Michael Thomas still fuming at Derek Carr: “He Is Ass On My Granny”
Saints WR Michael Thomas isn’t holding back on Twitter today— and it’s clear he’s done with his current quarterback in New Orleans, Derek Carr.
After Chris Olave’s injury in the Saints game today against the Carolina Panthers, Thomas went nuclear on social media, dropping the now-iconic line, “He is ass on my granny,” to describe Carr.
Michael Thomas went OFF on Derek Carr: “He Is Ass On My Granny”
What does that even mean? Who knows, but it’s my new favorite insult, and I’m determined to work it into my everyday vocabulary.
Oh, and did you catch the stray shot at Davante Adams? Dude’s not even in the game, yet Thomas found a way to drag him into the drama.
Thomas’s disdain for Carr isn’t exactly breaking news. He’s been vocal about it all season, especially after blaming Carr for his own season-ending injury, calling out a “bad ball” that left him sidelined. Carr, to his credit, admitted he “probably didn’t throw the best ball,” but that’s not cutting it for Thomas.
Now, with Olave likely dealing with a concussion after another questionable throw, Thomas’s frustration has reached a boiling point.
And you know what? He’s not wrong. The one thing receivers hate more than anything? A hospital ball—a throw that sets them up for a big hit. Thomas has been screaming about this forever, and now Olave’s paying the price.
Thomas isn’t sugarcoating it and continues to tweet his little heart out. He literally hates Derek Carr, and he’s making sure everyone knows it. No passive-aggressive jabs, no cryptic tweets—just straight-up calling him out.
Honestly, it’s kind of refreshing. That is a level of clarity with Philly sports team that I dream about, ya know?
Now the Saints are stuck in the middle of this mess. What exactly do you do here? I guess you stick with Derek Carr over their often-injured wide receiver tweeting from his couch but at the same time, it might be best if these two get in the same room and have a conversation.
