During Sunday’s 27-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, Dak Prescott was sidelined in the fourth quarter after suffering a hamstring injury. And just like that, the Cowboys’ problems went from bad to worse.
Dak Prescott Hand Injury:
Dak Prescott initially went into the blue medical tent after appearing to cut his right hand. But that wasn’t the issue that ultimately knocked him out of the game. On the sideline, he looked in visible pain, favoring one leg before being ruled out with the hamstring injury.
Dak Prescott Hamstring Injury:
Before his exit, Prescott was actually playing somewhat well. He completed 18 of 24 passes for 133 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 30 yards on three rushes. But with the game hanging in the balance, it was backup Cooper Rush who had to step in.
The Cowboys now find themselves at 3-5, with Prescott’s injury adding to their woes. Head coach Mike McCarthy has a lot on his plate, and figuring out how to adjust without their star QB is priority number one.
Dak Prescott Expected to Miss Multiple Weeks with Hamstring Injury:
This loss not only hurts in the standings but raises serious questions about how the Cowboys will move forward if Prescott misses significant time. With a tough schedule ahead, the pressure is on, and the margin for error is shrinking fast. Stay tuned, Cowboys fans—it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
