NBA Deep State remains silent on Grayson Allen blatantly kneeing Guerschon Yabusele in the head while focusing all efforts Joel Embiid

The NBA Deep State strikes again. If you needed more proof, look no further than the league’s ongoing crusade against Joel Embiid while turning a blind eye to Grayson Allen’s antics.

Last night’s 76ers vs. Suns game showcased this double standard perfectly.

Grayson Allen knees Guerschon Yabusele right in the head:

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not completely crazy…

Was Grayson Allen trying to move his knees around Guerschon Yabusele’s head to avoid contact?

Maybe, but given the fact that Allen is a player with a well-documented history of dirty plays, making contact Yabusele’s head could very well be viewed as intentional.

Yet, there’s no outrage? No investigation? Crickets from the league?

Shocker. I get that we’re talking about early-November basketball here but that’s not a hall pass for playing like an asshole, right?

Meanwhile, the spotlight remains firmly fixed on Joel Embiid’s so-called “conduct.”

You’d think a game with this kind of spotlight would prompt the NBA to investigate the incident, especially considering its potential to harm a player’s season, but so far, silence.

Instead, the league’s focus seems to be squarely on rumors and reports around Joel Embiid’s supposed “conduct” this past weekend.

Side Note: While I personally wish Embiid kneed Marcus Hayes in the head, that didn’t happen, no matter what the Philadelphia Inquirer tells you.

Rats: Keith Pompey calls Embiid’s shove on Marcus Hayes ‘assault;’ says Embiid ‘punched’ Hayes in since deleted Tweet

The point I’m making here is that it does seem that the spotlight shining from the roof of the NBA Front Office building is always glaring down upon Joel Embiid.

There are a million examples of what should and should not be investigated by league officials and for whatever reason, Embiid can’t get out of the crossfire. The NBA’s recent decision to fine Embiid for what they deemed “excessive” celebrating on the sidelines during the Pacers game was the latest blunder from the league and I doubt it will be the last.

It’s beyond frustrating watching the NBA hammer down on Embiid while barely glancing at a clear-cut incident on the court involving Yabusele.

Is it just a coincidence, or is the league’s handling of the Sixers a pattern?

If you look back, this “special treatment” toward Philly seems like it could be part of a broader narrative that dates all the way back to the Process era.

Each season, we see hints of inconsistency when it comes to how the NBA treats its teams and players—and Philly always seems to get the short end of the stick.
