Mike Tyson gives hilariously dark interview to young kid ahead of Jake Paul fight

Mike Tyson has still got the sauce, folks. Iron Mike gave an interview to a kid reporter and it went off the rails fast, with the former championship pontificating on his own mortality and imminent death. Not exactly the lighthearted, kid-friendly interview this girl was expecting.

Jazzy’s World asked Mike Tyson about the legacy he’d like to leave behind and was likely not prepared for his answer:

Jesus Christ, Mike. I’d ask him to have some situational awareness, but the guy’s been punched in the face enough times I can understand why that might no longer be in the cards for him.

I’ve got to give this kid some credit, not many people can say they’ve stood inches from one of the most dangerous fighters on the planet while he’s waxed poetic about how insignificant his life truly is. That’s almost as scary as getting in the ring with him for a fight.

Tyson’s interviews in the lead up to this fight have been nothing short of hilarious. He is well and truly a one of a kind personality that stands out in a sport dominated by personalities.

While this interview was definitely towards the peak, nothing can top this excerpt from his conversation with Rosie Perez. This also focused on his own mortality, but also came with a side of him dodging AIDS despite having raw sex with someone carrying the disease.
