Fresh off their sixth-straight win, sitting at 8-2 and atop the NFC East, it’s hard to argue with Skip here!

Thursday’s game against Washington was a bit of a slog until the fourth quarter when the Eagles broke it open, but they still looked like a contender for the majority of the contest. The biggest difference between last year’s squad and this year’s is pretty obvious — the Eagles defense is legit now, and they’re only getting better as the season goes on.

Will all of this end in a Super Bowl victory? One can only hope. If Skip Bayless is standing behind it, I might have to as well.
