Eagles Takeover Complete: SoFi Stadium looked like Lincoln Financial Field West on Sunday Night in Los Angeles
Saquon Barkley stole the show in the Eagles’ seventh straight win, a dominant 37-20 road victory over the Rams. Barkley etched his name in the history books, rushing for an Eagles-record 255 yards and adding two jaw-dropping touchdowns of 70 and 72 yards in the second half.
It was a performance for the ages in what felt like a home game at SoFi Stadium, mainly thanks to Phans of Philly and thousands of Eagles fans traveling west for the Sunday Night Football matchup.
Despite the game being in Los Angeles, SoFi Stadium looked more like Lincoln Financial West. A wave of Eagles green flooded the stands, and the Rams were clearly unprepared for what felt like an away game on their own turf.
Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford even admitted the challenge beforehand, telling NBC, “We’re going to be in a silent count most of the game.”
That’s not something you typically hear from a home team.
Before the game, Vivid Seats released their ticket sales report saying that 52 percent of the crowd at SoFi Stadium would be Eagles fans and honestly, I think that was on the low end. There were thousands of Birds fans with us at the Phans of Philly tailgate outside Hollywood Casino near SoFi and that was just one of many large contingents of Birds’ fans in LA.
Phans of Philly Eagles Tailgate in Los Angeles:
LA does have a solid contingent of Eagles fans—Jason Kelce even joined a local crew of Birds faithful in the lots before the game but if you’re from Philly, you know that Eagles fans always travel well, mainly thanks to Phans of Philly, who had thousands of fans out in LA all week for the game.

A Sea of Green Inside SoFi Stadium:
Gotta love it, right? The Eagles’ fanbase continues to prove it’s not just passionate—it’s relentless, even thousands of miles from home.
Shoutout Phans of Philly. They literally handle everything.
I cannot say enough about Phans of Philly and what they provide Eagles fans on the road. We already had an unreal experience down in New Orleans so let’s take a moment and run through how easy it is to travel when you book a trip.
