Not Good: Joel Embiid, Paul George, Kyle Lowry ruled OUT tomorrow against Houston, Caleb Martin questionable

The Sixers will be shorthanded once again for their matchup against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday. Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Kyle Lowry are all officially ruled out, while Caleb Martin is listed as questionable.

Paul George provided a glimmer of hope by partially participating in practice, but Joel Embiid, Lowry, and Martin were absent from Tuesday’s session. For a Sixers team struggling to find their footing this season, the continued absence of key players is another tough blow.

Check out this injury update on the Philadelphia 76ers…brutal lol

Joel Embiid is still dealing with a nagging left knee issue that has kept him out of action in recent games. George remains sidelined with a hyperextended left knee suffered last week against the Grizzlies.

Meanwhile, Lowry, who’s been battling a hip injury, will miss his fourth straight game. Martin’s status is less clear after he left Friday’s game against the Nets with an undisclosed issue.

At 3-13, the Sixers desperately need a spark to turn things around, but it won’t come easy with their stars unavailable. As they prepare to face the Rockets, the focus shifts to how the remaining healthy players can step up and keep the team competitive.

To do that, it means relying heavily on Tyrese Maxey and Jared McCain which is fun to witness obviously but long term? I don’t see these two keeping the Sixers anywhere near playoff contention. It does however, increase our changes that Conway will be dancing a lot more given McCain’s increased playing time, so there’s that.
