Eagles offensive lineman have framed picture of Saquon Barkley scattered throughout locker room; they worship him as ‘Our Savior’
I’m all for good vibes in a locker room, but this latest addition to the Eagles man cave feels a bit overboard.
Apparently, the Eagles offensive lineman have taken it upon themselves to hang up framed pictures of Saquon Barkley around their locker room, with written messages under each one. One of them reads “Our Savior” and the other one says “The Chosen One.”

Not gonna lie… this is a little weird. A bit too ritualistic for my taste, but hey, the vibes are clearly through the roof at the NovaCare Complex right now. Who am I to talk down on the Eagles at this point in time.
According to Jordan Mailata, Landon Dickerson was the one who hung these pictures up — and I’m assuming he’s the one who wrote the messages as well. Dickerson is a goofball at heart so I’ll just take it at face value here. Still, not a huge fan of this whole worshipping angle the team has taken with Saquon.
Playing Devil’s advocate here — what if he gets hurt? The team obviously feels very strongly about this guy and if he goes down, it could disrupt all of the good vibes they’ve built up this year. I guess you could say that about a lot of players on the team. I mean, Brandon Graham went down two weeks ago and the team didn’t miss a step in terms of just being ready for the game.
Maybe I’m just talking out of my ass with all of this. I don’t know, I just don’t like to think of a singular player as a team’s ‘Savior,’ you know?
Whatever. I won’t carry on about this anymore. Keep winning ball games and getb that No. 1 seed. That’s all that really matters.
