Eagles Beef: Terrell Owens dunks on Donovan McNabb over his hypocritical comments concerning Jalen Hurts & A.J. Brown
Well, well, well, Eagles fans. It’s been quite the victory Monday here in Philadelphia, and unfortunately it’s been more of a drama filled day than one where we are celebrating the Birds winning their 9th straight game.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock or something, you’re probably aware of A.J. Brown’s comments after the game that has somehow sparked a controversy if we want to call it one. The Eagles receiver simply voiced his frustration with the passing game, or lack there of. That of course has gotten twisted and turned into a bunch of nonsense. Mainly driven by 94.1 WIP, they are painting a narrative that there is some sort of locker room issue or even relationship problem between Jalen Hurts and AJ.
Just about everyone has chimed into this situation at this point, including former Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb. Here’s what ole #5 had to say on the situation.
Donovan McNabb on Eagles frustrations
Donovan McNabb on A.J. Brown's potential frustrations with Jalen Hurts:

"It's two grown men. If you got an issue, you come to me. Let's not go through the media[…]because now it blows up and[…]now what you said is out there in front of everybody."

McNabb wasn’t the only former Eagles player that chimed in. In fact, this quote caught the attention of Terrell Owens. And boy, oh boy, did he have quite the response.
“Now this is interesting coming from you, Owens began, before pointing out the irony in McNabb’s stance on handling disagreements privately. Owens claimed he “never” had an issue with McNabb during their time together in Philadelphia, instead asserting that it was McNabb who harbored ill feelings. Owens capped his rebuttal with a jab about Super Bowl XXXIX, hinting that lingering tensions between them may have contributed to the Eagles falling short in that game.

For those of us that are ever so deeply engrained into Philly sports, you all probably felt something inside of you reading that. It may have reignited memories of his tumultuous relationship with quarterback Donovan McNabb. The relationship that left a very sour taste in all of our mouths.
This exchange is a stark reminder of the drama that marred the Eagles’ 2005 season, as Owens and McNabb’s fractured relationship overshadowed their on field potential. T.O.’s comments also underscore a timeless NFL storyline: the delicate balance of ego and camaraderie in locker rooms filled with star talent. His tweet indirectly connects to this alleged Hurts-Brown dynamic, that has taken this town by storm over the last 24 hours.
With all of that said, there really isn’t any beef or drama between Jalen and AJ. The two are literally best friends, and I’d have to imagine balancing their work relationship and real-life relationship is a tough one. So when A.J. is frustrated like he is right now, it has to be a very tough situation for him. Not to mention that his best friend is the franchise quarterback of the team he plays for.
The Eagles are 11-2, won 9-straight games, and have really only one concern right now, and that is the inconsistency an execution in the passing game. Obviously A.J. Brown would be frustrated with that. He’s one of the best receivers in the league and has had to take a massive backseat in the offense due to Saquon Barkley’s dominance and Kellen Moore adjusting the offense to Hurts.
This doesn’t make A.J. a bad teammate and doesn’t make him a selfish player. The guy clearly cares about winning, and wants to be a larger part of the offense. For one because he’s A.J. freaking Brown, but secondly because if this team is going to win the Super Bowl, the passing game needs to be much better. So if you find yourself upset with A.J., take your grumpy ass to WIP and listen to that garbage.
We eat, sleep, breathe, the truth here at TheLibertyLine. So, to conclude, I trust Hurts, Sirianni, and A.J. to work this stuff out behind closed doors. Just like they always do.

I never read most of these Eagles related articles. Most of them are click bait BS! This article however, read as if i was listening to a TRUE Eagles fan talk about the current situation with the franchise.Thank you for writing something worth reading!
