WNBA forces Caitlin Clark to “bend the knee” after being named Time’s 2024 Athlete of the Year
They got to her. They finally got to her. After a long and hard fought battle, the WNBA and those that suffer from the woke mind virus, have forced Caitlin Clark to bend the knee. While it is sad, it was very predictable, and I’m not going to be one of those people that slander her for it, because unfortunately given her platform and the fact that she has to carry the WNBA, she really has no choice.
With that said, it couldn’t have come at a more worse time as Caitlin Clark was announced Time’s 2024 Athlete of the Year. My theory here is quite simple, the WNBA simply was not going to let Caitlin have all of the shine here and they viewed it as an opportunity for her to highlight the rest of the league and some of players from the past who have helped grow the game.
Before I dive deeper into the issue at hand here, while it is very impressive that Caitlin was named Athlete of the year, and truthfully something that should be celebrating; it is worth noting that this magazine is considering Kamala Harris for Person of the Year. Kamala Harris! I nearly fell out of my chair when I read that.
Caitlin Clark “bends the knee”
Caitlin Clark had to issue this WNBA Land Acknowledgement in order to be allowed in polite company. But let's be real: the WNBA wasn't built on black women. It was built on NBA men who subsidized that useless league for decades. pic.twitter.com/FlNEWs1clY

I’m sure there is going to be a large portion of the angry, woke mind virus mob that reads and I want to make myself crystal clear to you. I do agree partially that the WNBA was built on some great black players, without a doubt. But why do we have to highlight that every single time Caitlin is on television or wins some award?
You wonder why people really sour on your overall product in the WNBA and it’s for that exact reason. We all just want to watch basketball and we are sick and tired of you trying to shove politics down our throats 24/7. The worst part about all of this is that they took the biggest and most important figure in the sport, and drug her down into this mess.
Perhaps, I’m overreacting here and this was simply Caitlin Clark doing her part to promote the game and be (politically correct), but something about this just doesn’t sit right with me. It doesn’t feel natural or organic and instead it feels forced. The funny part is, Caitlin just being the phenomenal player she is on the court and the very respectful person she is, has grown the WNBA more in one year than anyone else’s efforts.
