AJ Brown: ‘That was our moment to tell everybody to shut up’

If there was ever any doubt about the chemistry between AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts, they put it to rest on Sunday. After a week of swirling rumors about off-field tension, the dynamic duo led the Eagles to a dominant 27-13 victory over the Steelers, with a performance that made one thing clear: they’re on the same page when it matters most.

The moment came late in the first quarter. Hurts hit Brown for a touchdown, the Eagles’ first of the game, and Brown sprinted back to his quarterback for a celebratory dance.

According to AJ Brown, the move was premeditated so you just know they were waiting all week long to GO OFF against the Steelers on Sunday and rightfully so.

The entire storyline that AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts hate each other was nothing more than bullshit narratives derived from the media that had nothing better to talk about.

If you were paying attention, you knew that already but it’s important it’s sad again until people stop listening 94.1 WIP like the gospel.

AJ Brown: ‘That was our moment to tell everybody to shut up’

“That was our moment to tell everybody to shut up,” Brown said after the game. “Last week wasn’t our standard… Everyone in the locker room was saying the same thing, but I was the one that got crucified for it.”

Brown was referencing the criticism he faced after an emotional sideline moment in last week’s win over the Panthers, where he was seen slamming his helmet after a lack of targets. His postgame comments about the passing game needing improvement only added fuel to the fire.

The situation reached a boiling point when Brandon Graham speculated on his show that the friendship between Hurts and Brown had “changed.” However, both players quickly dispelled the rumors, addressing the issue head-on during the week.

“I said [the passing game] for a reason,” Brown clarified. “It wasn’t for me to get the ball, it was for all of us to get on the same page.”

Hurts also downplayed the drama, telling reporters, “The scrutiny is never-ending… I just want to show up and be the best teammate, best quarterback, and be the best I can be.”

By Sunday, the air was clear, and the results spoke for themselves.

AJ Brown finished the game with eight catches for 110 yards and a touchdown, while Hurts delivered his best passing performance since September, completing 25-of-32 for 290 yards and two touchdowns.

Together, they torched Pittsburgh’s secondary and left no doubt that their connection remains one of the NFL’s most dangerous.

Victory Monday: Eagles dominate Steelers for franchise-record 10th straight win

The Eagles improved to 12-2 with their franchise-record 10th straight win, maintaining their spot atop the NFC. The victory was a reminder that, despite occasional bumps in the road, this team is united and firing on all cylinders.

With a chance to clinch the NFC East next week against the Washington Commanders, the Eagles look like they’re only getting stronger as the playoffs approach.

Eagles soar to Super Bowl co-favorites after Week 15 win Over Pittsburgh

Football is a game of emotions, and last week’s sideline drama was just that—a moment. AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts turned the noise into fuel, delivering a performance that silenced critics and kept the Eagles’ momentum rolling.

The scrutiny, valid or not, may be “never-ending,” but if the Eagles keep winning like this, it won’t matter. Winning cures everything—and this team knows how to win.
