ESPN thinks Jalen Hurts has it easy in the NFL because he’s attractive
Leading up to last week’s game against the Steelers, narratives ran rampant about Eagles QB Jalen Hurts and his inability to throw the football.
Hurts put those doubts to rest, passing for nearly 300 yards and two touchdowns to clinch Philadelphia’s franchise-record tenth-straight victory.
After a performance like that, surely the haters would relax for a week, right? Not exactly.
On Tuesday morning’s episode of Get Up, ESPN’s Domonique Foxworth stated that Jalen Hurts gets a pass in the NFL because of his looks and benefits from “pretty privilege.”

“Jalen Hurts is benefiting from pretty privilege, he got up on that press conference after the game, and he acted like he was Josh Allen.”

Hurts has proved he can do everything necessary to win on the football field, so naturally, analysts have pivoted to his appearance. Shameful.
There is a reason, however, why Foxworth may not like Hurts very much. Apparently, Foxworth’s wife finds Hurts very attractive and said as much on a recent podcast.
Nooo wayyyy they literally found Foxworth’s wife talking about how handsome Jalen Hurts is LMAO pic.twitter.com/iY5UzVDJRy

This is a strange look all around, but Foxworth should have more decency than to criticize a player for non-football related reasons.
Prayers up for that household.
