AJ Brown hints that Eagles starters will rest in Week 18
The debate among Eagles fans all week will be on whether the starters should play or sit in Week 18 against the New York Giants.
If it were up to AJ Brown, the starters would, “Rest up, heal up, and get ready to go.”

If it were up to me, I wouldn’t play anyone next week either, but I see both sides to the argument. Getting Saquon Barkley the rushing record would be awesome, especially at home against his former team. Is it worth risking any injuries, though? No shot.
If the team decides to play starters, I imagine it’ll only be for the first half at most. Getting Jalen Hurts back in the lineup and getting some of the rust off, while feeding Saquon until he hits 101 yards, makes some sense. Still, I wouldn’t risk it.
This team has come too far to have their playoff chances take a major hit with injuries. Be smart and get ready for the postseason. If the real goal is winning the Super Bowl, then you have to sit the starters this week. Simple as that.
