Cris Carter says he wouldn’t go to Philly even if he was sitting in the owner’s box because our fanbase apparently assaults everyone

I typically ignore the PR Firms flooding my inbox with content that they want The Liberty Line to write (for free) to promote their own personal clients or product but I stumbled across this one featuring Cris Carter, who for some odd reason is blasting Eagles fans in some random Q&A.

Backstory: Cris Carter played three seasons with the Eagles to begin his NFL career before making his name as an all-time great with the Vikings. The viral video of that dumbass Eagles fan yelling at the Packers YouTubers fans that has gone viral prompted Carter to chime in on Philly sports fans as a whole, saying that they are awful.

Carter even stated that IF the Minnesota Vikings won against the Rams on Monday night and had to travel to Philadelphia for the Divisional Round this Sunday, he wouldn’t have came, “even if he was sitting in the owners box.” – which has to be the biggest load of bullshit I have ever heard from pretty much anyone over the course of my entire life.

Cris Carter on attending a football game in South Philly:

“There have been many people that have been assaulted by Philly fans. Even if Minnesota had won that game (against the Rams), I wouldn’t go to Philly. I wouldn’t go to a game even if I was sitting in the owner’s box. They are in your face, and if you are wearing opposing colors, it’s even worse.”

I wonder how many times Cris Carter actually sat in the stands at Lincoln Financial Field?

Why does he think that Jeffrey Lurie’s owners box would be a violent, unsafe place to watch a football game? Good follow up questions for sure, but of course, they weren’t asked. In fact, they are never asked, which is why we have this YouTube chump running amuck across the internet with zero accountability.

The Packers fan who sounded the alarms on the stupid Eagles fan who harassed his fiancee has an interesting backstory >>

Trust me, I know the long-standing “narrative” around Eagles fans and can fully admit that things were much worse at Veterans Stadium when this dinosaur, Cris Carter, was actually playing football.

But to come out and say this now is just ridiculous behavior and nothing more than lazy, engagement farming given the current headlines running wild across the internet.

Cris Carter: “There have been many people assaulted by Philly fans…”

Oh really? Can you name three examples in the last 20 years of this happening?

I have about 50 that I wrote about on the website, mainly involving Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Rams, and Las Vegas Raiders fans.

Why isn’t Cris Carter talking about ANY of those teams? I am so sick with this narrative and the national media feeding into it by letting anyone comment whatever they want without providing any actual insight or examples to their claims.

Cris Carter “doesn’t think” (we know) that “Philly fans will change the way they live their life” which is yet another baseless claim from someone desperately seeking attention.

It’s fucking brutal and an NFL legend who actually played football in Philly for a few years should know better but really, why would anyone care what Cris Carter and his “moral authority” says about anything or anyone? This dude is a lifelong scumbag…lol.

Maybe Philly doesn’t want Cris Carter to come to Philly anyways…?

  • Cris Carter has a laundry list of issues over his life and football career. Let’s highlight a few and then determine whether or not we would want him to travel to Philly in the first place.
  • Cris Carter is on record saying he punched a girl in third grade.
  • At Ohio State he signed with a sports agent and lost eligibility his senior year.
  • Carter did cocaine and found himself in all kinds of trouble with Buddy Ryan and the Eagles – which forced the team to trade him after just three years.
  • Carter is on record telling young players to find ‘fall guys’ to take the blame for their actions to keep them out of legal troubles while playing in the NFL.
  • Carter was fired from Fox Sports because he wasn’t getting the roles he expected.

So yeah, maybe Philadelphia doesn’t want Cris Carter to come to our city anyways? That seems more logical than whatever nonsense he’s spewing in random Q&A’s to stay relevant, right? Good riddance, Cris Carter. If you’re bored and want to check out this lousy Q&A, the entire thing can be found here.
