Packers Fan Eagles Fan Backstory

The Packers fan who sounded the alarms on the stupid Eagles fan who harassed his fiancee has an interesting backstory

At this point, you’ve all seen the viral video of the Packers fans getting harassed by some drunk idiot Eagles fan last Sunday at The Linc. I posted our previous coverage on that below and PLEASE, don’t get me wrong – that Eagles fan is a total asshole and I stand firmly behind him being a total embarrassment to the city of Philadelphia and our sports fandom in general.

In no way should anyone have spoken to these Packers fans or really, anyone in that manner and as a city constantly battling the narrative of being the “worst sports fans in the world,” moments like this don’t just hurt our image—they set us back miles.

This Eagles Fan is an Embarassment to the rest of us. Let it be known that normal people don’t support this shit:

I do have some follow up questions based on some information I found online…

Alexander Basara is a Green Bay Packers content creator. He’s from Landenberg, Pennsylvania, roughly an hour outside Philly past Kennett Square and just north of Wilmington, Delaware. He’s a YouTube content creator and has nearly 60,000 subscribers on his channel which can be viewed right here

Why’s that interesting? Alexander, who apparently goes by ‘Bas’ started a GoFundMe, looking for donations from his subscribers to attend the Packers-Eagles Wild Card Game.

Here’s the link to the GoFundMe and below is the description…

Packers fan, Alexander Basaraski GoFundMe:

My name is Alex, but you may know me as Basaraski Productions on YouTube. Or simply just ‘Bas’

The Packers are heading to the playoffs, and are going into Philly this next Sunday to take on the #2 Seed Eagles. Things are gloomy right now in Packers fandom, but one this is for certain. I’m still confident and believe in this team.

If you didn’t know, I’m born and raised in PA, and actually 1 hour from the Eagles stadium. So I ask of you, the fans… send me to Philly. Send me into the belly of the beast. I’ve done it multiple times repping the Packers proud, and I am fully ready to do it again.

I’ve been cursed at, stuff thrown at me, and even my first ever cheesehead ripped off my head and thrown into a fire bin while supporting my team in Philly. But I’m sure as hell not scared to do it again.

If 600 of my viewers all donated just $1. I will go to philly next weekend and support the Green & Gold to the fullest.

Of course, thank you to anyone who donates. Thanks for all the support

GO PACK GO.

***AGAIN, I’M NOT EXCUSING THE EAGLES FAN BEHAVIOR***

Fair and balanced journalism though, right? So let’s break this down real quick. The Packers have played the Eagles five times since the 2010 NFL season in South Philly.

  • 09/12/2010: Packers at Eagles (27-20)
  • 01/09/2011: Packers at Eagles (21-16)
  • 11/28/2016: Packers at Eagles (27-13)
  • 11/27/2022: Packers at Eagles (33-40)
  • 01/12/2025: Packers at Eagles (10-22)

Assuming Alexander had his cheesehead ripped off and thrown into a “fire bin” at one of these games, I would question where that video was and why it’s not on his YouTube channel, which he started back in 2014 while he was still in high school.

I would also question that type of behavior from an Eagles fan in general, along with the fact that the Packers won the game in 2010, 2011, and 2016 before losing on their last two trips in 2022 and 2025.

That’s fair, right?

On top of that, does Alexander really need a GoFundMe to travel less than an hour to South Philly to watch the Packers play the Eagles? I have my doubts but who am I to judge. I would think that he doesn’t but is just trying to capitalize off his subscribers on YouTube, which again, I have no issue with. He does however, tend to ask for help via GoFundMe more than others…

Anyways, back to the Eagles game, which Alexander successfully raised $586 and attended the game with his fiancee, the woman getting trashed on by the Eagles fan in the original viral video.

Alexander showed up to the game on Sunday strapped with a GoPro to his body.

***AGAIN, I’M NOT EXCUSING THE EAGLES FAN BEHAVIOR***

So this guy, shows up to the Eagles game with a GoPro strapped to him and then he’s the one that goes viral for the very ugly interaction with that moron Eagles fan, way up in the nosebleeds. He doesn’t react to his girl getting harrassed by that asshole, but instead, sits back and records the entire thing.

Alexander posts it on social media, several times, and then cuts up a video of it to show everyone how horrible Eagles fans are, while living less than an hour outside of the city and presumably knowing exactly the type of reaction he would get given the historical slander that Eagles fans receive on a local and national level.

***AGAIN, I’M NOT EXCUSING THE EAGLES FAN BEHAVIOR***

This all seems a bit weird right? Not to mention, we don’t even know what happened in the video before or after the clip was posted on social media. Were the Eagles fans provoked? Clearly the Eagles fan took issue with something while Alexander’s fiancee continued to cheer, almost like she was victorious in the exchange.

I guess we’ll never know?

What we do know, is that Alexander posted it online with the intent of ruining the Eagles fans life. Calling for the social media mobs to find this man while also mentioning the man’s wife and daughter.

***AGAIN, I’M NOT EXCUSING THE EAGLES FAN BEHAVIOR***

Maybe Alexander, if he’s going to solicit public feedback on social media, should post the entire exchange instead of just a single clip. Maybe Alexander, if he’s then going to reply to every single comment under the video, should tell everyone that he was wearing a GoPro and was focused on filming the interaction, rather than protecting his wife or doing anything to stop the idiotic Eagles fan from berating her.

I don’t know? I’m just asking the questions that need to be asked when it becomes a national headline and Eagles fans are getting dragged through the mud. I don’t think it’s unfair to at least ask for more information or insight into the exchange given Alexander’s response, GoFundMe history, and the fact that he lives in Landenberg, PA – an hour away from The Linc.

In my humble opinion, while the Eagles fan’s behavior was disgusting and should have never happened, Alexander has a lot more questions to answer before we all treat him like he’s a victim of a brutal crime at an NFL playoff game. But hey, that’s just me. Do what you want with this information. I’m just here to give you what I found.
