Kellen Moore Jerry Jones Dallas Cowboys

Kellen Moore can rally the city of Philadelphia by immediately telling Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys to kick rocks

Leave it to the Dallas Cowboys to stir the pot when Kellen Moore and the Eagles are gearing up for their biggest game of the season on Sunday in the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs.

While most (if not all) of Dallas’ roster is sipping margaritas in Cancún after yet another disappointing season, Jerry Jones has decided now is the perfect time to mess with the Eagles by trying to hire their offensive coordinator, Kellen Moore.

Cowboys request interview with Eagles OC Kellen Moore:

Kellen Moore scheduled for 3 interviews this weekend ahead of playoff game vs. Rams

Jerry Jones is such a little RAT. I mean seriously, he couldn’t wait until the offseason to start scurrying around the Eagles? Here in Philly, we are just two wins away from a Super Bowl, and instead of letting this team keep the main thing, the main thing (Shoutout Jalen) Dallas is out here playing chess on a board that hasn’t even been set.

Blame The NFL Rulebook:

The NFL allowing teams to interview coaches who are still in the playoffs is absurd. Imagine being Kellen Moore right now. He’s supposed to be crafting a game plan to shred the Rams’ defense and send Philly to the NFC Championship. Instead, he has to carve out time to interview with a team that already had him and let him walk.

It’s not just a distraction—it’s a slap in the face to the integrity of the postseason!

Why should teams still in the hunt be forced to deal with this nonsense? It’s hard enough to win in the NFL without your coordinators fielding calls from teams that couldn’t even make it to Wild Card Weekend.

Kellen Moore’s Opportunity to Rally Philly

Kellen Moore has a golden opportunity to rally the entire city of Philadelphia by publicly telling Jerry Jones and the Cowboys to kick rocks. Philly embraced Moore after Dallas let him go, and now he’s thriving in an offense that could easily lead the Eagles to a Super Bowl.

Taking an interview with the Cowboys right now would feel like the ultimate betrayal. It’s like saying, “Hey, I know we have a chance to make history this Sunday, but I’m going to spend part of my week chatting with the team we’re supposed to hate the most.”

Moore could make himself a Philly legend by ghosting Jerry and the interview, or walking into that Dallas HQ and dragging his balls all over Jerry Jones desk before heading straight back to the NovaCare Complex to make final preparations ahead of Sunday’s game.

Philly is a city that rewards loyalty, and this is a chance for Moore to show where his priorities lie while probably getting himself a hefty raise in the process from Lurie and company.

Rat Behavior: The Dallas Cowboys Need to Stay Away from Philly…

This whole situation is peak Cowboys. They’re not even in the playoffs, yet they’re trying to interfere with a team that’s actually making a deep run. Maybe instead of meddling, Jerry Jones should focus on fixing his own franchise—a team that hasn’t been relevant in January since before Bill “Handsy” Clinton was in office.

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if is Jerry is simply looking for intel on the Eagles before their playoff run is even over. It’s a desperate move from a franchise that can’t seem to get out of its own way.

We need an intervention from Roger and the NFL front offices…

The league has to do better. This isn’t just about the Eagles or Kellen Moore; it’s about protecting the integrity of the postseason. Teams should not be allowed to interview coaches from playoff teams until after the Super Bowl. Period.

The Eagles have a real shot at making history, but instead of focusing solely on that, they’re dealing with outside distractions because of a ridiculous rule.

Fix it, NFL. Let the best teams focus on winning without this circus.

Kellen Moore is at a crossroads.

He can either stand with Philly and focus on helping the Eagles win a championship, or he can entertain a team that already let him walk once and is clearly just fishing for intel. The choice is his, but if he publicly turns his back on Jerry and the Cowboys, he’ll earn himself a lifetime of respect in this city.

Jerry Jones and the Cowboys should worry about their own mess before sticking their little rat-noses in someone else’s Super Bowl run. Stay in your lane, Dallas.
