Eagles OC Kellen Moore scheduled for three head coaching interviews this weekend ahead of playoff game vs. Rams
Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore has a lot on his plate this weekend.
In addition to game-planning for Philadelphia’s Divisional Round game against the Rams, Moore is slated to interview with three teams for their head coaching vacancies, per reports.
Moore will interview for the Jacksonville Jaguars’ opening tomorrow and the New Orleans Saints’ job on Saturday.
The Dallas Cowboys have also officially requested an interview with Moore and are expected to speak with him before Sunday’s playoff game.

The timing is imperative for these organizations. If they don’t interview candidates who are currently in the postseason this weekend, they’ll have to wait until those teams are eliminated.
Teams may only conduct virtual interviews with playoff coaches before the divisional round concludes.
Moore was a name the Cowboys quickly circled for obvious reasons. The 36-year-old coach served as the backup QB in Dallas for three years before transitioning to QB coach in 2018.
He was then promoted to offensive coordinator and was Dak Prescott’s play-caller from 2019-2022 when the Cowboys had a top-ranked offense.
“I spent a lot of time there [in Dallas], eight years there, so [I] have plenty of relationships in that place,” Moore said on Tuesday.
“I love it here. I’ve had so much fun here. It’s been a really fun process, and we’re in a really special situation right now, getting the chance to play this Sunday, having a chance to make a run at this thing, and that’s really all you worry about. Everything else is what it is, and we’ll see where it takes you.”
Eagles fans have a bad taste in their mouths regarding head coaching interviews amidst playoff runs, largely due to the Jonathan Gannon situation two years ago.
Let’s hope Moore can balance his personal endeavors with the team’s Super Bowl aspirations.
