Jason Kelce weighs in on Eagles vs. Commanders NFC Championship game this Sunday
Jason Kelce was on WIP this morning breaking down the Eagles-Commanders matchup, and as always, he kept it real. Sure, the guy’s all-in on the Birds—he’s the heartbeat of the team and the city—but that’s what makes his perspective so legit. Over the past year, Kelce’s been honest, even when it wasn’t the easiest thing to hear. When he talks about the Eagles, you know it’s coming from a place of experience and authenticity.
Reality check for Commanders fans
So, if you’re a Commanders fan reading this blog, there’s really no need to roll your eyes. If anything you’re probably more biased about your team than Kelce ever would be. Let’s be honest, you guys are all riding an insane wave of hype right now and I totally get it. I’ve been there before. But let’s just get something straight, you guys are the underdogs and I am very confident that you all are going to get smacked with some truth serum this Sunday.
With that said, why don’t a give you a little preview of what will taste like, courtesy of one, Jason Kelce. The Eagles legend believes the Birds are better than the Washington Commanders at every single position.

While it’s quite evident that the Eagles have the better team, and as long as they don’t make any crucial mistakes in this game, they should take care of business. But it doesn’t change the fact that they do have a challenge ahead of them. Kelce did indeed acknowledge that today during his segment.
“It’s going to be a tough game,” Kelce admitted. “When your quarterback is playing that well and you are that disciplined as a team, it’s really hard to beat teams like that.”
Hammer the Birds
The Birds are sitting as 6.5-point home favorites this Sunday, and honestly, that feels spot on. They’re the better team on both sides of the ball, plain and simple. Add in the fact that this game is in Philly, with that crowd ready to blow the roof off the Linc, and it’s hard to see Washington keeping pace. Oh, and let’s not forget—winning three straight road games in the playoffs? Yeah, good luck with that, Commanders.
If you’re looking to pad your wallet this weekend, hammer the Eagles (-6.5). Feels like easy money. Let’s ride.
