Chris Simms has a long track record of taking shots at Eagles QB Jalen Hurts. With Super Bowl Sunday on the horizon and Hurts set to play in his second big game in three years, it looks like ol’ Simms is changing course a bit.

When speaking with 94WIP’s Eliot Shorr-Parks down in New Orleans, Simms gave Hurts his flowers and even said he’s picking the Eagles to win the Super Bowl over Kansas City.

I’ll take it.

In all honesty, I don’t really care for quarterback rankings. So whenever Chris Simms drops his, I really don’t pay attention. It only truly bothers me when Hurts is completely disrespected — like he doesn’t win the majority of the games he starts and play at a high level.

I know everyone loves ranking quarterbacks, but I’ll never get it. Sure, Joe Burrow is a great quarterback. His team also didn;t make the playoffs this year. Why would I care about that over having a great team?
