WATCH: Philly Ad Agency trolls Chiefs fans outside of Arrowhead Stadium
Spite-based philanthropy might just be Philly’s greatest innovation. For the past 24 hours, Chiefs fans driving past Arrowhead have been greeted with a devious little surprise—a digital billboard that reads: 📞 816-323-GO KC—call for a pep rally in your pocket.
Sounds harmless enough, right? Not quite. When anyone dials that number, instead of anything to do with the Kansas City Chiefs, callers are blessed with a good ol’ Fly Eagles Fly.
I gave it a ring and here’s what happened.
Philly Ad Agency Trolls Chiefs Fans Outside of Arrowhead Stadium:
What Philly Ad Agency is Behind The Troll Job?
According to Crossing Broad, Aloysius Butler & Clark (AB&C), a Philadelphia-based marketing agency, proudly claimed responsibility for the stunt and sweetened the pot by saying the entire thing is all for charity.
For every call made to 816-323-GO-KC, AB&C is donating money to both the Eagles Autism Foundation and the Kansas City-based Hunt Family Foundation—up to $5,000 total between now and Super Bowl Sunday.
Philly is once again trolling for a cause.
This isn’t the first time Eagles fans have weaponized pettiness for good.
- Last week, Birds fans flooded Tailgate Ted’s cancer fundraiser (a Commanders fan) and donated over $15,000, just because some guy took a shot at Philly.
- In 2018, after Vikings fans tried to “invade” Philly for the NFC title game, Eagles fans donated thousands to the Minnesota Children’s Hospital after demolishing their team.
- And now, this glorious billboard outside Arrowhead Stadium.
Call the Number. Sing Along. Raise Money.
📞 816-323-GO KC
Call it. Blast the fight song. And while you’re at it, help raise money for kids and families who need it. That’s the type of energy Philly fans bring: obnoxious, funny, and ultimately, all in good fun.
