Nick Sirianni Kellen Moore Run It Back

WATCH: Nick Sirianni tells Kellen Moore to ‘run it back’ following Eagles’ 40-22 victory in Super Bowl LIX

Nick Sirianni isn’t ready to say goodbye to Kellen Moore just yet.

As the Philadelphia Eagles celebrated their 40-22 thrashing of the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX, Sirianni made it clear where he stands on his offensive coordinator’s future.

Nick Sirianni: “Let’s run this s— back, Kellen.”

“Kellen, let’s run this s— back, Kellen. Let’s run this back.”

That’s a coach who wants to keep the band together and honestly, you can’t blame him for putting a little pressure on Moore, who is basically a “sure thing” to take the New Orleans Saints’ head coaching vacancy.

Nick Sirianni’s Message is Loud and Clear

Moore was a massive part of the Eagles’ Super Bowl-winning formula, helping transition the offense into a run-heavy, ball-control attack that allowed Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley to thrive. After a rocky start to the season, the Eagles leaned on Moore’s game plans and adjustments to rip off a dominant stretch run that ended in a championship.

But Moore is expected to take the New Orleans Saints’ head coaching job, leaving a major hole in Sirianni’s staff. And while Sirianni understands the opportunity Moore has in front of him, he’s clearly not ready to let go just yet.

A Push for Continuity is a No-Brainer from Nick Sirianni

Sirianni knows how important continuity is for sustained success. Losing Moore means another major adjustment heading into next season—something the Eagles had to deal with last year after both coordinators left for head coaching gigs.

Whether Moore sticks around or not, Sirianni’s message was clear:

The Eagles aren’t done. They aren’t satisfied. And they fully expect to be right back in this spot next year.
