Jalen Hurts and DeVonta Smith take it all in on the sidelines in a moment that will make grown men cry

This one hits different. Jalen Hurts and DeVonta Smith aren’t just another QB-WR duo that clicked on the field. These two have been through it together—the highs, the lows, and now? The mountaintop.

On Sunday, they did something no other QB and WR have ever done—winning a college football national championship and a Super Bowl together.

Sure, Tua had a role in that Alabama title, but let’s not act like Jalen Hurts didn’t put in the work to get them there. The foundation of this connection started back in Tuscaloosa in 2018, and now, six years later, they just finished off their fourth season together in Philly with a Super Bowl ring.

And man, what a ride it’s been.

They felt the heartbreak together in 2022 when they fell just short. They suffered through the collapse in 2023 when the entire city of Philadelphia was ready to burn the thing down.

They’ve heard the doubt, the criticism, the narratives that Jalen Hurts isn’t that guy, that the passing game wasn’t good enough. Through all of it, they never flinched.

And now? They are forever champions. And they did it in Smitty’s hometown of New Orleans.

This is why the Eagles aren’t just built to win one Super Bowl. They’re built to win multiple. So many teams talk about culture, connection, and togetherness. These guys live it. Jalen, DeVonta, Saquon Barkley, Lane Johnson, the entire defense, Nick Sirianni—this is a group that actually believes in each other, fights for each other, and wins together.

When Jalen Hurts launched that bomb to DeVonta to make it 24-0 reality set in that the Eagles were about to be crowned World Champions.

Now these two just hit me with this emotional moment again? NFL Films has done it again and damn it, man. We need a quick reset.
