AJ Brown ethers critics in a mic-drop Super Bowl parade speech
The Eagles’ Super Bowl parade had everything—beer showers, a wedding, Saquon Barkley cementing himself as a Philly legend, and even a baby getting autographed. But when it came time for the speeches at the Art Museum, AJ Brown stole the show.
If you thought Brown was going to let the moment pass without addressing the narratives and nonsense that have followed him all season, you don’t know AJ Brown.
Grabbing the mic in front of millions of screaming Eagles fans, Brown set the record straight in the most explosive, mic-drop moment of the day.
“They said I was a diva,” Brown shouted. “They said all I cared about was stats. You gonna get all those things wrong about me, but one thing you’re gonna get right: I’m a f—ing champion!”
AJ Brown – Mic Drop Speech
“They said I was a diva. They said I only cared about stats. They can get those things wrong about me. But you’ll get this right — I’m a world champion!”

Cue absolute pandemonium.
Thousands of fans erupted as Brown threw his arms in the air, soaking it all in like a man who knew damn well he had the last word.
This wasn’t just a victory lap—it was a full-circle moment. Brown had dealt with plenty of noise this season, from the media, from opposing fanbases, even from people within Philly who questioned his attitude.
But after putting up another dominant year, tearing through the playoffs, and hoisting the Lombardi Trophy? Yeah, he earned the right to talk his talk.
There’s just something about the Eagles and their star players delivering legendary parade speeches. In 2018, Jason Kelce gave us an all-time classic. Now, AJ Brown just cemented his own spot in Philly sports lore.
Super Bowl champion. Mic dropped. Case closed.
