Quinyon Mitchell was a madman at the Eagles parade today

If you’re a rookie cornerback who just went from Toledo to Super Bowl champion in less than a year, you’re allowed to be a little drunk at the parade.

And by a little drunk, I mean Quinyon Mitchell was absolutely lit.

Quinyon Mitchell, double-fisting beers like a seasoned vet, became the MVP of the Eagles’ celebration when he grabbed a mic from FOX 29’s Jennifer Lee and let out an absolutely slurred, drawn-out battle cry- “Goooo Eaglessss.”

James Bradberry deserves an award of his own for keeping Mitchell somewhat upright and preventing him from going full Jason Kelce mode. Bradberry was in shutdown corner form, locking down Mitchell from doing anything too reckless while still letting him live his best life.

And honestly, who could blame him?

A year ago, Mitchell was playing midweek MACtion games in front of a few thousand fans. Now he’s in the middle of a sea of green, a first-round pick, and a key contributor to a Super Bowl-winning defense. If that’s not a reason to crush as many post-parade beers as humanly possible, I don’t know what is.
