Eagles reportedly viewed as leading contender for Myles Garrett at Scouting Combine
The NFL Scouting Combine is more or less the NFL rumor mill manifested. And this year, the Eagles seem to be taking center stage in all the gossip.
Per multiple sources, everyone at the combine thinks the Eagles are going to land Myles Garrett this offseason. The chatter around this move began before the Super Bowl was even played and now it’s starting to hit a fever pitch.
Our own Victor Williams poked around a bit and the general consensus was that everyone is scared shitless of Howie Roseman.

There’s so much buzz around this trade that it almost makes me think it won’t happen.
When has Howie ever telegraphed a move of this magnitude during his tenure in Philly? Never. This isn’t his style. He’s a silent assassin, always waiting for the absolute best moment to make his move.
I’m not saying it won’t happen, all this noise just gives me pause. It could just be a bunch of rumors and people connecting dots without any real intel.
Howie is always looking to wheel and deal, Myles Garrett plays a position of need and is arguably the best defensive player in the game right now. On the surface, the move makes a ton of sense for both sides.
It’ll be interesting to see how to whole saga plays out. At the very least, we know the Eagles will make the call to inquire about him.
